Twin Shock™ hinges allow for hyper-flexing, and the comfortably secure fit utilizes adjustable nose pads and Unobtainium® earsocks.
Oakley’s iconic Mars® sunglass inspired this design original. It takes advantage of some of the most advanced eyewear hinges ever created. Inspired by the shock-absorbing leaf springs of race cars, Twin Shock hinges can be flexed beyond their normal open point, and there is no inward pressure that can cause discomfort during extended wear. The Unobtainium® on the earstems is engineered to increase grip with perspiration, and it is part of a Three-Point Fit that retains the lenses in precise optical alignment.
